Volunteer Schedule (Tentative)

8:00 – 10:00 AM Volunteer Registration, Mountain Communities Family Resource Center
8:00 – 10:00 AM Scrutineering, South Kern Christian Church, Frazier Park*
10:00 – 10:30 AM Volunteer briefing and lunch distribution, Mountain Communities Family Resource Center
10:30 AM Caravan to your assigned location**
12:45 PM Volunteers in place, communication checks complete, timing controls ready for 00 car to enter the stage.

*Only required of those vehicles actually entering Los Padres National Forest. Carpooling is mandatory. If you are carpooling into the forest with someone else, you do not need to undergo this requirement.
** The caravan travel time can vary between 30-60 minutes depending on your specific assignment.

Start and Finish Control Workers
Registration Workers
Spectator Safety Marshals
Amateur Radio (HAM) Operators

Volunteers receive a free meal and event tee shirt.

*** Select roles require that the volunteer be at least of 16 years of age and may require parental consent if a minor.  All volunteers will be required to sign a waiver.
